About us

Wick Dynamos is a club with a long tradition. For us, it's not all about serious training: we love it when our teams win, but we're just as enthusiastic about our groups that simply meet for fun.

We're always happy to welcome new members who are interested in joining in with club activities, helping us organise events or excursions and being part of our community.

 

We currently have 4 youth teams and 1 adult team. We are looking to expand and strengthen all our teams squads. Girls/Ladies football is becoming more and more popular and we are very keen to develop this area of the club - please contact us if you like to become involved in girls/ ladies football.

 

We are carefull in the selection and signing-on process of players - and emphasis the level of comitment that is required from all concerned when joining a club - including parents. We have a policy of signing on players on the following criteria:

We are a football club and as such expect all of our players to conduct themselves in the appropriate manner during training, matches and in the community.

 

The club aim to provide a good all-round grounding in all aspects of football. Drawing heavily on the F.A. four corner model of player development:

  • Social
  • Technical
  • Physical
  • Mental

 

As any fan or player of the game will know, many of those who become involved in the game at an early age remain involved for the rest of their lives - being involved and part of a team pays dividends for a long time into the future in all areas of a players life not just football.

 

This is why we take the decison of signing players on very seriously indeed - it's someones future we are dealing with!
